Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and responsive Freelance Researcher/Associate Virtual Assistant to support our Director in various administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone looking for part time work to top up their hours. Hours cannot be guaranteed as they are dependant on the client tasks we receive.

Day time hours are preferred to enable any supplier communication that is required, but we can be flexible. We are looking for someone with a strong background in office administration and with excellent computer skills. You must have your own pc/laptop. The Virtual Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities, allowing us to focus on our core business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and organise your schedule to accommodate tasks.
  • Handle information with the strictest confidentiality.
  • Conduct research as needed to support various projects.
  • Handle correspondence via email and phone (where necessary) with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain your own filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring information is easily accessible and stored securely.
  • Assist with client personal life admin.
  • Prepare documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
  • Maintain GDPR Compliance & ISO registration.
  • Provide clerical support to team members as required.

Experience

  • Proven office experience with a strong administrative background is essential.
  • Previous research and/or Virtual Assistant or PA experience highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive). Power point desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with Canva is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Willingness to learn new platforms/software.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously when required.
  • Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively.
